Welcome To The Maine Flower Show!

The Maine Flower Show, owned and produced by members of Maine’s horticulture industry, is one of the biggest gardening and horticultural shows in the region. With a new location and new management, the Maine Flower Show at Thompson’s Point in Portland boasts more display gardens, more exhibits, more planting and outdoor living inspiration than any local show.

In addition to display gardens, the 2018 Maine Flower Show will have 100 exhibits of plants, hardscape, arbor and garden supplies, hands-on workshops and seminars led by experts in growing and outdoor living. Growing enthusiasts of all stripes enjoy this one-of-a-kind horticultural experience each year.

You folks did a fantastic job with this show! I have been attending the Portland show for 20+ years and this was the best one in a long while! Way better than the recent Boston shows as well!

Debbie Dunham

Thousands of pollinator seed packets will be given away again at the 2018 show to both support food supply and work with the Maine Landscape & Nursery Association’s own Plant Something Maine! campaign.

My husband and I really enjoyed the show! The displays were amazing and using the app and finding numbers, we were able to win a beautiful, flowering shrub. Looking forward to next year’s flower show already!

Plant Something Maine!

Planting Reaps Big Rewards
That Grow & Grow

When you plant a seed, plant a tree, or start an edible garden, something almost magical happens. Put roots in the soil, and you begin a chain reaction of goodness. It begins with your health, spreads to your quality of life, and unfolds into the world around you. You could call it magic – we just call it planting something.
